Course Access

All Learners registered for a self study, web-based, or in-person course will have access to the online content. Learners will have access to the online course for a full year (365 days). The expiration date will appear prominently on our Dashboard below the product title.

Learners have access to purchased courses 24/7 with a reliable internet connection.

  • Use a device of your choice desktop, laptop, tablet, or cell phone, with a reliable internet connection.  Chrome is highly recommended.
  • Work at your own pace. There are no submission deadlines for module completion. Learners will have 12-months to work through, download, and complete all coursework and quizzes.
  • Work Tracking. The Learner will be able to log in and out of a course module at any time; the system recognizes work completed and allows the Learner to seamlessly continue working where they left off.

eLearning Courses

The NASF Foundation eLearning courses are structured with a mandatory progression. You'll move through each section of the course, completing activities and Knowledge Checks as you go. The content builds upon itself as you progress through the series. Courses include narration, instructional videos, and interactive online activities.

Self-Study Courses

The NASF Foundation Self Study courses follow a different format from the eLearning courses. After the course introduction, you will be prompted to download and save PDF lessons to your device. When you have completed your lesson review and self study, complete the corresponding lesson Knowledge Checks. You have unlimited attempts for each set of Knowledge Checks. Correct answers will be revealed after you submit your response for each question. It is recommended that you pass the lesson knowledges checks with an 80% or higher before registering for the corresponding NASF Foundation Exam.

Course Prep & Time to Complete

The time it takes to complete a course will vary from Learner to Learner depending on their previous knowledge, experience, and training. It is strongly recommended that if noted in the course description, the Math Basics and/or Chemistry Refresher course be taken BEFORE embarking on a Certification or Certificate course.

Certificates of Completion

Once a learner successfully completes a course and submits the required course survey, a Certificate of Completion will be made available for download and printing.

Web-Based Courses‎

Those registering for web-based courses will be provided a Zoom link before the first course date.  A few notes about web-based courses:

  • Attendance while not required is monitored and strongly suggested.
  • Course material review is not required for participation but will go a long way in ensuring course comprehension and learning.
